Guided tours of the Museum can be arranged by appointment

Pre-school tours include an activity sheet and a selection of drinks and yummies from the kids menu. Photo opportunities for children in a vintage car are available.

Primary School groups are accompanied by their own Tour Guide. Interactive activities are available, with an activity booklet (that has a customized section available for teachers to aligned their visit to their school curriculum) available from the Museum.

A Work placement scheme is currently being offered to Tertiary and High School students to enable practical skills to be enhanced for the tourism and hospitality sector.

Volunteers

The Museum is largely staffed by volunteers. Their life stories and experiences bring the displays to life. The staff enjoy getting together for the annual Paddle and Picnic event and ongoing training.
